Lagoon 42
FLOKICAT — Lagoon 42, 2021, owner's version, never chartered
On the Lagoon 42 market, most boats come from charter companies. FLOKICAT has only ever known its owners. Launched in June 2021 after construction in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (hull no. 561), it has been maintained as one maintains one's own boat: only 650 hours on each engine, new bedding and a bright interior, light-colored teak and LED lighting, which looks as if it just left the shipyard.
It is the four-cabin owner's version, with two skipper berths in the forward peaks, never used. The two aft cabins have 160 × 200 beds, the two forward cabins have 140 × 200 beds, all with slatted bases. Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower and electric toilet. All are air-conditioned, as is the saloon. You can sail away with ten people without anyone getting in each other's way, and you can live in it just as well in mid-summer as in the shoulder season.
Autonomy has been designed for offshore cruising. The 11 kW Onan generator, 1,400 W of solar panels, a 150 l/h watermaker and an AGM battery bank renewed in 2024 allow for extended anchorages without needing a dock. At the chart table as well as at the helm station, the B&G electronics are complete: two 12-inch Zeus screens, Halo20+ radar, Forward Scan, autopilot, AIS and Navionics 2025 charting.
Under sail, the full battened gaff mainsail with lazy bag and the zero code on a boom with furler make the Lagoon 42 a boat that really performs. Two electric winches facilitate maneuvering. On board, you enjoy a large cockpit with cushions and sunbed, a teak deck, an outdoor shower, and Fusion sound system inside and out.
The boat is ready to depart: rigging inspected in 2025, engines serviced, PYW up to date, manuals in French and English.
The boat is sold with its transferable dry berth, a real asset given the scarcity of moorings on the coast. It is held in a company structure and listed excluding taxes: for a corporate buyer, VAT is recoverable, and for a non-EU buyer, export allows acquisition tax-free. For an individual resident in the European Union, 20% VAT is added to the listed price.
FLOKICAT can be seen at Port Navy Services, in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône.
