FLOKICAT — Lagoon 42, 2021, Owner's Version, Never Chartered
On the Lagoon 42 market, most boats come from charter companies. FLOKICAT, however, has only ever known its owners. Launched in June 2021 after construction in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (hull no. 561), it has been maintained as one maintains one's own boat: only 650 hours on each engine, new bedding and a bright interior, light parquet flooring and LED lighting, which appears fresh from the shipyard.
This is the owner's version with four cabins and two skipper's berths in the forward peaks, never used. The two aft cabins have 160 × 200 beds, the two forward cabins have 140 × 200 beds, all with slatted bases. Each cabin has its own head with shower and electric toilet. All are air-conditioned, as is the saloon. You can accommodate ten people without getting in each other's way, and you can live comfortably there in the middle of summer as well as in the shoulder season.
Autonomy was designed for offshore cruising. The 11 kW Onan generator, 1,400 W of solar panels, a 150 l/h watermaker and an AGM battery bank renewed in 2024 allow for extended periods at anchor without seeking a marina berth. At the chart table and at the helm, the B&G electronics are complete: two 12-inch Zeus displays, Halo20+ radar, Forward Scan, autopilot, AIS and 2025 Navionics charts.
Under sail, the full-batten main with lazy-bag and zero on spinnaker pole with furler make the Lagoon 42 a boat that really performs. Two electric winches facilitate maneuvers. Onboard you enjoy a large cockpit with cushions and sun lounger, teak decking, an outdoor shower, and Fusion sound system inside and out.
The boat is ready to depart: rigging inspected in 2025, engines overhauled, insurance current, manuals in French and English.
The boat is sold with its transferable dry-dock berth, a real asset given the scarcity of available berths on the coast. It is held in corporate ownership and listed excluding VAT: for a corporate buyer, VAT is recoverable, and for a non-EU buyer, export allows purchasing the boat VAT-free. For a private individual resident in the European Union, 20% VAT is added to the listed price.
