The Excess 11 is today one of the rare catamarans under 12 meters offering a genuine offshore cruising program with an excellent compromise between sailing performance, ease of handling and onboard comfort. This 4 cabin – 2 head version offers a particularly sought-after configuration for family use, cruising or a charter program in the Caribbean. The two forward cabins fitted with mattresses provide additional berths or storage spaces that are highly appreciated onboard.
The cockpit and saloon benefit from fluid and convivial circulation with an L-shaped galley opening to the exterior, a comfortable saloon table as well as excellent natural ventilation thanks to numerous opening ports. 12V fans installed in the cabins and saloon enhance comfort in tropical climates. The vessel is equipped with particularly coherent equipment for autonomous sailing with an adjustable solar panel array of 480 W, an AGM battery bank replaced in April 2026, an autopilot and complete modern Raymarine electronic equipment including AIS, VHF ASN and Axiom display at the starboard helm station.
Under sail, this Excess 11 offers highly appreciated seaworthiness with a full batten mainsail, self-tacking jib and gennaker on roller furling allowing performance optimization in light wind while maintaining simple handling with reduced crew.
